A Third Five-Year Strategic Plan for Tacony
Our longstanding client the Tacony Community Development Corporation has entrusted Heritage Consulting Inc. again to develop a third five-year Strategic Plan for this organization in Northeast Philadelphia. Each of the two previous Strategic Plans we provided for them were highly ambitious. Both times, the organization implemented more than 95% of the tasks they set for themselves in these plans.
This time, the organization is more mature and will be wrestling with real estate development issues, planning, and zoning concerns as well as promoting the extraordinary number of home rehabilitations taking place in the neighborhood. As a historic preservation based economic development organization, the TCDC group is considering how to protect their historic building stock of both homes and commercial buildings, through more local historic districting, which we applaud. We expect another highly ambitious strategic plan to emerge for Tacony.
