Capital Campaigns and Revolving Funds at Missouri Main Street Workshop April 1

We are doing a day long workshop for our long time clients Missouri Main Street Connection on April 1. 2022 in Joplin MO.
This workshop is all about fundraising for large projects. I will talk about getting ready for a capital campaign for 90 minutes in the morning. Bridgette Kelch formerly ED in Washington MO will talk about Planned Giving, and in the afternoon Lori Haun ED of the Downtown Joplin Alliance and I will talk about Revolving Funds.
I worked with Lori in 2019 to on a Feasibility Study for their Endangered Properties Fund. This project in turn, was funded at the maximum level of $100,000 from the 1772 Foundation to seed their fund. Lori and her board have been hard at work since then and she will showcase two projects she is working on using those funds.
We will end the afternoon with a panel discussion with the three of us talking about ways that local Main Street organizations can intervene in the local real estate market to find new owners for threatened properties. Join us. Click on the flyer above to learn more.
