Siloam Springs Strategic Plan Adopted

Over the last six months we worked with Siloam Springs Main Street in Northwest Arkansas to help them prepare the first ever Strategic Plan. The downtown is a handsome National Register Historic District, with a new amphitheater created on a hillside that slopes behind a new public library. The amphitheater, just opened this spring, has already been a big hit with the community. The area adjacent to the library at the top of the hill is the location of the beloved Main Street Saturday Farmers Market, which is growing leaps and bounds in its new location adjacent to the new splash pad. Downtown has a variety of eateries, boutiques and service businesses to service area residents. As part of our consultation, we provided board training, a workshop on preparing work plans, and revised the organization’s bylaws to bring them up to date. This Strategic Plan comes at a critical moment for the organization, as all but two downtown vacancies are now full, and the organization is pushing for a broader tourism agenda for the downtown. The Board overwhelmingly adopted the new Strategic Plan at their July 2019 meeting.  See the Strategic Plan here
