The Old City District, a 22-block business improvement district located in the historic heart of Philadelphia including the Independence National Historical Park. The Old City District asked us to provide Board training in September for board members in their first mandatory in-person meeting since the COVID pandemic. A Municipal Authority, this BID is 25 years old and provides a variety of cleaning, safety, events, marketing, and economic development services to this small-scale historic neighborhood that is undergoing extensive development activity. More than 800 apartments are in construction now or in the conceptual stage which will bring more than 1200 new residents.
