Donna provided a 90 minute board training for our business improvement district board of trustees this week. She did a great job and definitely got the conversation going in the right direction. Hopefully this training will resonate the most with all the new board members we have just added.
Ms. Harris was very thorough and helpful in training our Board in 2018 on the legal and ethical practices of successful Boards like ours. Having a knowledgeable person like Ms. Harris who is unaffiliated with our organization was vital in getting this important training for our Board so that its members could understand their responsibilities and have guidelines to follow as they serve. Donna Ann Harris, Principal Heritage Consulting Inc., assisted Downtown Milford, Inc. (DE) (DMI) in the planning and writing of facade guidelines for our designated Main Street downtown in 2018. Donna's oversight of the process from beginning to end was exceptional. Meetings were scheduled and organized with appropriate materials and follow-up. Committee members were kept apprised of the process and progress until the guidelines were completed. In addition, Donna put together not only a hard copy of the guidelines, but a slide presentation used to present the recommendations to the public.
