Main Street Hammonton NJ, Funded by Main Street New Jersey
Main Street Hammonton NJ is a highly successful downtown organization that has been working for the last 22 years to make this handsome community at the edge of the Pine Barrens a real community gathering space. Virtually all the downtown storefronts have interesting independent restaurants, bars, shops and arts-related nonprofits. The apartments upstairs are rented. The quality of the façade improvements, signs and awnings are outstanding throughout the five-block district.
As a long-standing Main Street New Jersey community, they are making a transition into the management phase of Main Street and needed some training and tune up of board practices before launching into a Strategic Plan to guide the organization for the next five years.
