Our friends at Oregon Main Street asked us to update an old policies and procedures manual for downtown organiztions and bring in best practices we have seen in our 18 years of consulting with these groups. This is what resulted. The manual has extensive information for all Main Street organizations, The personnel policies are written for Oregon, which has many laws abotu workers rights and responsibilities. You will need to update this section for your own state's employment law. The document is a PDF fill in the blank format so that you can add your organization's name throughout and which officers or staff are check signers for example.
