Chester County PA Webinar on What Does It Mean to be Visitor Ready?
Chester County PA 250 Commission
The Chester County 250 Commission is the organization responsible for planning tourism development for the county for the upcoming 250 anniversary of the American Revolution coming in 2026. Heritage Consulting Inc. is working as part of a consulting team with frequent partners, Heritage Strategies LLC who wrote an excellent Heritage Tourism Plan for Chester County over the last year. Our role is to provide capacity building training for the small history, heritage and open space organizations that make up the bulk of the visitor attractions in the county.
On March 22, 2024, we conducted a webinar for the Chester County PA 250th Commission, titled “What does it Mean to Be Visitor Ready?” clik on link to get PPT This session reported on a Visitor Readiness Self-Assessment that was sent to more than 100 Chester County organizations, including history, open space, and preservation organizations as well as gardens and historic sites. About 47% of these groups/organizations responded to the survey, and this webinar reported on those survey results. In the upcoming months, we will conduct various organizational capacity-building training programs for the Chester County 250th Commission.
